‘An early Christmas gift:’ First COVID-19 vaccines in Newfoundland and Labrador
Registered nurse Ellen Foley-Vick received the very first Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in Newfoundland and Labrador on Wednesday at Memorial University’s medical school in St. John’s. She said it was like an early Christmas gift. The shot was administered by chief medical officer of health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald.
