    'Now is not the time' to travel freely: Tam

    Chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam is warning Canadians not to "just freely go wherever" even after the country removed a global advisory against non-essential international travel. She also says the requirement for a pre-departure PCR test is being examined but she notes the pandemic is "very much alive" outside of Canada.
