B.C.'s provincial health officer Bonnie Henry urges province to decriminalize possession of drugs to fight an overdose crisis that has already killed thousands. Henry says decriminalization is a way to protect people from highly toxic street drugs and will allow police to help people living with addictions connect to the support they need.
