Feds pledge $1.75B for national broadband

The federal Liberal government is promising to invest $1.75 billion to connect Canadians across the country with high-speed internet service. The government says 98 per cent of Canadians will be connected by 2026, and the hope is that everyone will have access by the end of the decade.
