Firefighters in Mexico were battling forest fires on Monday which broke out amid a heat wave setting record temperatures in Mexico City. Police blocked off areas near the fires in the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl as authorities warned smoke could move towards the capital. (Apr. 15)
