    Newsroom Ready: COVID-19 vaccine’s arrival only the beginning of the end: Njoo

    Deputy chief public health officer Dr. Howard Njoo says the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine in Canada is welcome, but only the beginning of the end. He urges Canadians to keep following public health guidelines, especially since it is not yet known whether the vaccine is effective at stopping transmission of the novel coronavirus, on top of protecting against disease.
