Newsroom Ready: Indigenous Services Minister says talks with pipeline protesters led to ‘modest progress’

Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller said he’d made ‘modest’ progress with protesters after having difficult conversations about the protest of a pipeline crossing Wet’suwet’en traditional territory in B.C. He wouldn’t go into detail about the discussions, which took place near the site of a rail blockade in eastern Ontario, but said he’ll take people’s concerns directly to the Prime Minister.
