A small group of administrators and students held a ceremony at Polytechnique Montreal, formerly known as Ecole Polytechnique, to mark the 34th anniversary of the massacre that killed 14 women. Ceremony participants placed flowers at a memorial plaque on the engineering school's campus before leading a minute of silence. (Dec. 6, 2023)
