Ontario announces new public health measures to slow the spread of COVID-19

The Ontario government announced new public health measures Monday in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and limit the burden on the health care system. The new measures, which include reducing social gathering limits, closing indoor dining at restaurants and bars, pausing non-urgent surgeries and moving schools online, kick in Wednesday.
