Pierre Kwenders has won the 2022 Polaris Music Prize, one of the country's most prestigious music awards. Kwenders, who won for “José Louis and the Paradox Of Love” considered how he'd spend the prize money, pointing out his mom was first in line because of her sacrifices and support.
