Quebec to check on all of province’s 2,600 private and public seniors residences

The Quebec government will inspect all 2,600 of the province's seniors residences to ensure proper care is being provided during the COVID-19 pandemic. Premier Francois Legault says 40 private facilities were inspected over the weekend after the discovery of 31 deaths in less than a month at Residence Herron in Dorval, Que. He says five of the facilities inspected require monitoring.
