    Rob Ford says he will beat cancer

    In his first public appearance since being hospitalized, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford vowed to supporters to "beat cancer" the same way he says he beat his addiction problems. Ford bowed out of mayoral race but is still seeking a council seat.
