Smoke and haze fill the sky in and around Lytton amid wildfires

Evacuation orders and alerts have been issued for residents because of a wildfire burning south of Lytton, B.C., four years after the village was almost destroyed by fire. The latest blaze is on the opposite side of the Fraser River from the village. (July 31, 2025)
