President Donald Trump on Wednesday said Elon Musk would be looking at Fort Knox, the legendary depository for American gold reserves in Kentucky, 'to see if the gold is there.' Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the gold is audited every year, and that it is all "present and accounted for.”
