Freeland promises to fill gap in proposed aid package

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland is pledging to fill a gap in the government's bid to bolster hard-hit businesses with rent relief. Freeland promised to instruct the Canada Revenue Agency to accommodate rent-subsidy applicants who have not demonstrated rent payment, with legislation cementing that pledge to follow shortly.
