Poilievre says Conservatives did well but not well enough in election

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre spoke to reporters on Parliament Hill ahead of the first caucus meeting after the federal election. Poilievre says the party attracted almost 2.5 million new voters but it still wasn't enough to win and the party will spend the summer listening to people across Canada to attract more voters to "get us over the finish line." (May 6, 2025)
