Vancouver consolidates festival attack memorials
The City of Vancouver is consolidating a number of memorials to victims of the Lapu Lapu Day festival attack that killed 11 people last month, putting some of the flowers in compost bins. But Crystal Laderas, a spokeswoman for advocacy group Filipino BC, says it's too soon and people need more time to gather and grieve at the sites. (May 22, 2025)
