Officials mum after another whale dies at Marineland

Another beluga whale has died at Niagara Falls attraction Marineland, with Ontario's solicitor general saying little about a four-year probe into the park. Provincial records show it's the fourth beluga death in the past year and 16th since 2019. Marineland is the only place in Canada that still holds whales in captivity. Park officials have always maintained that they treat their animals very well. (Oct. 9, 2024)
