Two Japanese climbers found on Huascarán, one dead

Peruvian rescuers located Wednesday two Japanese climbers who went missing while attempting to summit Huascarán, the highest peak in Peru. According to the High Mountain Division of the Peruvian police, one climber, Chiaki Inada, 40, was found alive but died shortly after. The other, Sake Terada, 36, was rescued and survived despite extreme conditions at an altitude of nearly 21,650 feet (6,600 meters) above sea level. Huascarán’s summit stands at 22,205 feet (6,768 meters).
