Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited an air force base in Adampur on Tuesday where he lauded Indian defense forces days after Indian and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire. The militaries of India and Pakistan had been engaged in one of their most serious confrontations in decades, when India struck targets inside Pakistan that it said were affiliated with militants responsible for the massacre of 26 tourists last month in Indian-controlled Kashmir.
