Speedskater Gilmore Junio vacated his spot in the 1,000 metres so his teammate Denny Morrison could race it in the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. Morrison won a silver medal and, over a decade later, has given it to Junio. (Jan. 25, 2025)
