Cello-playing robot performs with symphony orchestra

A Swedish-born classical composer is behind what has been described as the world’s first joint performance by a symphony orchestra and a robot playing the cello. Standing on a podium, the clumpsy-looking jointed robot smoothly played the piece named “Veer” which had been written by Jacob Muhlrad.
