Grocery giant Loblaw plans to open 80 new grocery and pharmacy stores this year as part of a $10 billion expansion that will take place over the next five years. Most of the new stores will be discount grocers. The plans for 2025 also include renovating more than 300 grocery and pharmacy locations and the opening of a new Ontario distribution centre.
