Eby off to Asia for three-nation trade mission
British Columbia Premier David Eby has left B.C. for a 10-day trade mission where he will visit Japan, South Korea and Malaysia. Eby says during a press conference before departing from Vancouver International Airport that he is confident recent First Nations criticism of fast-track bills for certain projects will not derail investor confidence from Asia. His comments come after BC Assembly of First Nations Regional Chief Terry Teegee pulled out of the trade mission because of Bills 14 and 15. (June 1, 2025)
