Newsroom Ready: Hajdu urges young Canadians to socialize safety during COVID-19 pandemic

Federal Health Minister Patty Hajdu says she is worried about the rate of COVID-19 infections in young people and while she knows they care deeply about the safety of their families and communities, they are also at a stage of their lives where they are more tempted to socialize. Hajdu also says the number of deaths related to opioids has increased during the pandemic and that the federal government will focus on ensuring people who use drugs get needed support.
