Kenney says Calgary, Brooks, will learn reopening decision Friday

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says his government will let Calgary and the city of Brooks know on Friday if they can reopen restaurants and hair salons on May 25 as promised. The rest of Alberta was allowed to reopen those establishments last week, but comparatively high COVID-19 numbers in Calgary and Brooks prompted the province to move slower in those areas.
