Groundhog Day 2020

Groundhog Day 2020.
Canada's two most famous weather prognosticating groundhogs are split on whether we're in for an early spring.
Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam is predicting six more weeks of winter.
Ontario's Wiarton Willie is predicting an early spring as is Quebec's Fred la marmotte.
South of the border, in Gobbler's Nob, Pennsylvania, Punxsutawney Phil also did not see his shadow.
The annual event has its origin in a German legend that says if a furry rodent casts a shadow on Feb. 2, winter continues. If not, spring comes early
