Canada ‘disappointed’ by China charging two Canadians: Trudeau

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canada is disappointed that China has charged two Canadian citizens, Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig, and will continue to advocate for their release. Their December 2018 arrest has been seen as an apparent attempt to pressure Canada to release Meng Wanzhou, a top executive at Chinese tech giant Huawei.
