Newsroom Ready: Baby steps in Barrie as economy re-opens

Barrie is one of hundreds of municipalities in Ontario entering Stage 2 of the province's pandemic recovery plan. Government rules, which took effect Friday, allow a host of service providers to resume operations outside of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton and Windsor areas, where COVID-19 infection rates remain higher. But even as restaurants, salons and other services prepare to welcome customers back, they say it won't be business as usual.
