Winnipeg police are defending their actions after a video surfaced showing officers kneeing and kicking a man during an arrest. The police force says the officers were responding to reports of a man armed with a handgun who also had a knife, and they were trying to turn him over and handcuff him. They released a longer video from nearby security cameras.
