Newsroom Ready: Trudeau, Singh call out Scheer over blockade comments
Andrew Scheer's calls for the police to break Indigenous blockades raised in protest of a B.C. natural-gas pipeline were so off-base that he couldn't be included in a meeting of federal party leaders discussing the issue, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday. The NDP's Jagmeet Singh backed him, saying the Conservative leader showed he doesn't want to work on a contructive solution.
