Newsroom Ready: Government warned agriculture sector near tipping point due to blockades

The Canadian Federation of Agriculture says the sector is near the tipping point as blockades erected to protest a pipeline project in B.C. continue to cause havoc with Canada’s rail system. Speaking in Ottawa on Tuesday, CFA president Mary Robinson said farmers and other producers wants decisive action from the federal government and a long-term plan for preventing such rail disruptions in the future.
