Newsroom Ready: Scheer won't address MP Derek Sloan's attack on top public health doc
Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer says he won't discuss the views of an eastern Ontario MP who's hoping to succeed him. In a campaign video, rookie MP Derek Sloan called for Dr. Theresa Tam, Canada's chief public health officer, to resign or be fired, and asked whether she's working for Canada or for China amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
