Newsroom Ready: Residents of Merritt, BC, frustrated at continued evacation
Merritt, B.C. residents Mike and Danie Mohoruk want to get back to their home to check on damage after severe flooding hit the area earlier this week. About 2,000 people were originally forced to leave because the flood moved in quickly, although the entire city was later evacuated when the water and sewer treatment plant went offline.
