Alberta woman survives deadly COVID blood clot

An Alberta woman is alive after physicians at Calgary’s Foothills Medical Centre used a new device to remove a deadly blood clot from her lungs. Calgarian Brenda Crowell developed blood clots after testing positive for COVID-19. She was considered dead for 30 minutes before the embolectomy saved her life.
