Health Canada approves Omicron shot

Health Canada approved a new COVID-19 vaccine from Moderna that targets both the original strain of the novel coronavirus and the specific Omicron variant. Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos says the fall booster campaign will be important as Canada has fallen behind internationally on getting booster shots into arms.
