Shipbuilding plan plagued by delays: AG

Federal auditor general Karen Hogan warns government mismanagement could leave the navy and coast guard without the ships to defend Canada and protect its waterways. Hogan found delays in delivering new ships even before the COVID-19 pandemic began, as Ottawa's multibillion-dollar national shipbuilding strategy flounders nearly 10 years after it was launched.
