Andra Day says she had no plans to pursue acting at this point in her life and she “did not want to do this movie.” But the actor/recording artist says she’s “overjoyed” and “grateful” to receive an Oscar nomination for her lead performance in “The United States vs. Billie Holiday.” (April 19)
