B.C. COVID-19 hospitalizations hit new record

B.C.’s provincial health officer says 55 to 60 per cent of new daily COVID-19 cases involve variants of concern, leading to greater household transmission and rising hospitalizations. Dr. Bonnie Henry says the latest data show B.C. residents must scale back their travel and social interactions in order to bring the outbreak’s third wave under control.
