There is a shortage of adult-dose EpiPens in August

EpiPens are in "very limited" supply in Canada in August The devices give an emergency shot of epinephrine in cases of life-threatening allergic reactions There are no alternative brands available in Canada The shortage is due to a manufacturing issue Pfizer Canada says it is currently able to provide EpiPen in doses for kids But supply is being carefully managed and is also limited Health Canada says people who only have expired EpiPens can use them,
but should immediately call 911
