Canadian Screen Awards say foreign film, TV stars no longer eligible
New rules at the country's top film and television awards show will ensure Canadian Screen Awards only go to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television announced the change this week after a gala earlier this year awarded international stars Cate Blanchett and Jeremy Strong. (Sep. 18, 2025)
