Former Alberta deputy premier Thomas Lukaszuk is taking his pro-Canada petition fight to driveways and dog parks, with thousands of volunteers helping organize and collect signatures around the province. The goal is to spur a referendum question that would ask if Alberta should make remaining in Canada its official policy, and Lukaszuk says it has become like a full-time job for him. (Aug. 24, 2025)
