Mexican marine biologist survives shark attack in Costa Rica

A 48-year-old Mexican marine biologist survived a shark attack Saturday during a dive near Cocos Island National Park, off Costa Rica’s Pacific coast and was reported to be in stable condition. The Cocos Island Park was designated a World Heritage Site in 1997, and is famous for its great diversity of species, particularly sharks.
