Researchers at the University of Calgary's space weather network have attracted the attention of the Department of National Defence, Defence Research and Development Canada, the U.S. Navy and NATO as a result of the capabilities of an array of remote sensors. The 22 ground-based, high-frequency remote sensors across Canada and in the northern United States can be used to enhance radar systems. (Nov. 25, 2025)
