Alberta, feds offer $465M for frontline workers in COVID crisis

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says 380,000 public and private sector workers will get one-time $1,200 cheques for their work protecting lives and keeping the economy going during the pandemic. Recipients include gas station attendants, grocery store clerks, hospital orderlies, nurses and social workers.
