OPP commissioner says one officer killed, two injured in ambush

Ontario Provincial Police Commissioner Thomas Carrique says three of his officers were ambushed when they responded to a call after shots were fired in the middle of the night in the small town of Bourget, Ont. Sgt. Eric Mueller was killed and two other officers injured, one of them critically. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expresses his condolences and says Canada is losing its police officers far too often on the line of duty.
