Paris resumes century-old tradition bistro waiter race after a 13-year pause
A tradition dating back to 1914 has been revived by local authorities as Paris is getting ready to welcome the Olympics Games this summer. Dozens of participants set off carrying a plate with a croissant, coffee and a glass of water on Sunday for a 1.2 mile-long route through the Marais neighborhood in central Paris.
