Trudeau and Tsilhqotʼin nation celebrate anniversary of land ruling

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attended the 10 year anniversary event held by the Tsilhqot’in National Government at the Nemiah Valley Lodge outside Williams Lake, B.C., to celebrate a decade since the Supreme Court of Canada validated the Tsilhqot’in’s title claim over 1,700 square kilometres of land in the B.C. interior. (June 27, 2024)
