A cloud of dust and the thunder of hooves - this is how some Cambodians gear up for the Lunar New Year. Fifty pairs of oxen took part in the annual cart races in Romduol Village in Kampong Speu Province. The centuries-old tradition marks the start of the New Year which locals celebrate from April 13 -16. It also signifies the end of the rice harvest.
