At least one person was killed after a bridge in western Russia collapsed on Monday while vehicles were crossing over it, the country’s Ministry for Emergency Situations said. Five people have been hospitalized, one of them in serious condition, after the bridge that linked the Smolensk city of Vyazma to one of its suburbs crumbled, according to the ministry.
